Safety Tips for School Holidays

Are you going on holiday during the School Holidays.??

Here is some tips of how to keep yourself and your home safe and sound during this period!!

Your Safety is of high value:

Be aware of scams that criminals commit to take advantage of people’s generosity during the holidays.
Be cautious about locking your windows and doors to prevent entry.
Make sure of objects that might and can be used to gain entrance to your home, are properly locked away.
Leave at least two lights on inside an outside your house, and if someone take care ask them to randomly change the lights burning at your house.
Always inform at least one of your neighbours, friends and your security company if you intend going on holiday.
Arrange with a family member to look after your house and to make sure all in order and properly locked.
In case of emergencies, leave a list of contacts and spare keys with a trusted neighbour or nearby family member, friend that can enter your house if needed.
Make sure that family and friends are aware of your destination and movements during your holiday time.
Make sure that you are updated with your travel plans, road awareness and safe places where you can rest during your time spending on the roads.
Make sure not to leave valuables unattended in your vehicle when you stop to refresh.
Always keep an eye over each other and keep each other informed of any suspecious activities.
